Why I LOVE My Desktop PC
When I first started blogging I had a laptop and even though I liked it I wasn't using it as it was meant to be. I didn't go outside or roam the house to blog and I didn't care for the touchpad or button mouse. I wanted a full size trackball and keyboard. That's one of the reasons I switched back to a home desktop pc.
Don helped me build my desktop pc and I love it. I have a flat screen monitor, full size keyboard and of course my ergonomic trackball which keeps my wrist from getting tired and sore.
Another reason I prefer desktop model is we can upgrade the components we want. If I want a different case I can have it, if I can add more memory, upgrade my processor, video or audio and if the hard drive crashes I only have to replace that and I can do it myself. No shipping it out and paying out the ying yang for repairs or a new laptop.
I'm sure if I travelled for work or was constantly on the move I'd change my mind about wanting a laptop but for now I'll stick by my desktop pc and maybe look into a tablet for the times I want to be connected and away from home.

I love my laptop, but I kinda know what you mean. I like to blog from bed!! :)
We have a desk top with a big flatscreen (the size of a small TV!) full sized keyboard and ergo-mouse. My husband plays games and manages our network from there. we have a couple of other desk tops acting as media servers. But I love my laptop. I'm sitting in bed right now.
I don't use my laptop like a laptop either, but that's just because it's totally junky and if I move it, it will crash miserably LOL So we're saving for a new one!
