A Brighter Smile with Rembrandt Whitening Products + A Giveaway - GIVEAWAY CLOSED
For the longest time now, I have been on the quest for a brighter, whiter and more beautiful smile. They didn’t have to be the real pearly whites you would see a celebrity sporting BUT I did want them whiter than what they are. Then I asked myself, if this is what I wanted then WHY have I never taken the steps to achieve this? I’ll have to admit, I’ve never used whitening products before. Always wanted to but never did. I was leary. I questioned rather this stuff really works or would it cause any damage to my teeth? I’ve heard about how it could weaken the tooth’s enamel and make you your teeth sensitive. I don’t know! I guess if I never gave it a try, I would never know. I decided I deserved a beautiful smile and wanted the perfect smile for Valentine’s Day!
Recently I had the opportunity to review REMBRANDTS Teeth Whitening Collection which is an at-home tooth whitening system that claims to visibly whiten your teeth with the same enamel-safe ingredients that dentists use. With that said, I was anxious to get started. The items I received were: Plus Peroxide Whitening Mouthwash, 2 Hour Whitening Kit, Plus Fresh Mint Toothpaste, Whitening Strips, and Reach Toothbrush.
Since I would be using several products, I had to figure out my daily routine for the next few days. I was most anxious to try the 2 hour whitening kit since the results would be almost immediately. I then opted to let a few days pass before I started the whitening strips since I did not know if it would be too harsh on my teeth being that I just completed the 2 hour system. The strips were a once daily treatment applied for 30 minutes for five days. My routine for using the strips was to brush my teeth, put the strips on, take a shower and do the rest of my morning routine until thirty minutes have passed. Not too much involved so no complaints there.
The toothpaste has a mild mint taste to it. Not too minty but just the right amount. Applying the strips were simple but I did have to get used to them being that I was a first time user. At first, it was pretty weird having them on and I found myself talking a bit funny. The kids got a kick out of it and gave me a few stares but before you knew it, they forgot about it and I adjusted well, lol. That was fine, a small price to pay for wanting whiter teeth. I followed the process for 5 days straight and was very pleased with the outcome. I could noticeably see the difference each day. The end result was noticeably whiter teeth! Not bad for a 5 day process even though the instructions suggest 7 days for better results. For me, 5 days worked just fine.
To maintain my bright smile, I will need to use the Rembrandt Whitening Strips as directed every 6 months or as needed. Other products to help me keep my healthy –looking white smile are the Rembrandt Toothpaste, the Whitening Rinse and the 2- Hour Whitening Kit for those quick touch –ups.

I learned that in order to deeply whiten your teeth, you need to use a peroxide-based formula on a regular basis and each application has to penetrate teeth for a certain amount of time. The more consistent you are, the whiter your teeth will be.

Wow, I just assumed whitening toothpaste always existed - but no!!! It was introduced in 1989 by Rembrandt.

I found out that The peroxide in the REMBRANDT® Plus Peroxide Toothpaste gently reacts chemically to remove discoloration from teeth.
