A while back I received the Temple Touch Thermometer to review. I'm in love. It's not as intrusive as the other types available, the oral, rectal and even the ear. And in my opinion much more reliable than the strips you place on the forehead. I don't know why but I've never trusted something that acts like a mood ring.

The temple touch thermometer is easy to use. Press the button to turn it on, place the thermometer sensor on the baby's or adult's (yes it can be used with adults) temple and you'll have the reading in 6-7 seconds. There's also a temperature memory recall so you can compare to previous readings.
The Temple Touch Thermometer is available in 2 styles. The mini and the premium. I received the premium and it's available at Walgreens for $29.99. The premium also allows you to take readings under the arm if needed.   This makes a great gift for new moms as well as old moms, grandmas, aunts, even grandpas, and uncles. Heck, I bet daycare workers would love this, less chance of cross contamination and spreading colds and bugs.  Even though it's probably been designed for ease of use with babies I can tell you as an adult I like it too.
